Motivation
Finding a kit that matched the original upholstery in a 1964 Pontiac Tempest **Custom** wasn’t easy. Kits for the ‘64 LeMans, GTO, and even base Tempest models were readily available, but the Custom trim? Practically nonexistent. So when I came across a kit labeled for a Tempest Custom back in 2017, I ordered it immediately—even though there wasn’t a single photo to go by. Much to my frustration, the kit that arrived didn’t match what I had in the car. Thankfully (and somewhat surprisingly), it turned out I’d been shipped the wrong product.
