Harness Replacement
Motivation
Just when I thought I was done working on the car until the “off-season” (aka: Winter), I discovered a major safety issue that couldn’t be ignored. Multiple live power wires coming through the firewall had melted their insulation and were bare. Not. Good. Dash, Engine, and Forward Lamp Harnesses were purchased from Summit Racing. Their prices were reasonable, they had the items in stock, and their shipping speed cannot be beat. The harnesses were direct OEM replacements which made it easy to install. Just be sure to get the right harness for your car (AC, non-AC, Manual, Auto, etc)
What I Did
I ended up replacing the engine, forward lamp, and dash harnesses. I was already planning to replace the engine and lamp ones as they were very rigid and brittle.
